Dani Dyer already has ideas for her wedding dress as she launches new clothes collection

It’s been a busy few months for Dani Dyer since winning ITV2’s summer sensation Love Island. The final, watched by 3.6 million viewers, saw Dani and her new beau Jack Fincham walk away with £50,000.

The loved up couple have remained together and even announced their engagement last week, although it turned out to be a hoax played on Jack by Dani whilst she was a guest on Roman Kemp’s Capital Breakfast show.

Believed by everyone, including Jack and his family, you could say that the joke back fired. But it did little to dampen the couples popularity.

Talking about the prank Dani revealed that Jack fell for it as he was probably still asleep during her 7 am radio slot. “On god no, he doesn’t get up before 9.”

Of the two it was Dani, daughter of actor and Eastenders star Danny Dyer, who won the nations hearts with her no nonsense attitude.

Since leaving the show the 22-year-old has been in high demand. Voted best Female Personality 2018 at the National TV Awards she’s appeared on This Morning, Good Morning Britain and Celebrity Juice. She’s also collaborated with brands Virgin Atlantic, Mark Hill Hair, Just Eat and Lucozade. She’s also been signed up by Inthestyle.com to design her own clothing collection.

Rumours of a Kardashian style reality TV series about her family circulating have been also circulating for a while.

Talking to Roman Kemp on the Capital Breakfast show she revealed,”Yeah, we’ve just sort of started. It’s exciting. It is hard work though, it’s sort of back to all that again, ain’t it? I’m like ‘Oh no, Dan, here we go again. It is weird. Me nan loves it though.”

Confirming Bruv’s appearance, she continued: “Yeah, Bruv! Yeah, he goes ‘oh no, no I don’t want to go out!’ – I can’t do a Spanish accent, that’s how he does it!'”

Speaking to Roman Kemp at the TV Choice Awards Dani’s father hinted, “There is stuff on the table. It could either be brilliant and genius or an absolute car crash… it’s worrying. But we’ll have little meetings and see what happens really. And if they want it, maybe we should give it to them – for the right money!”

Dani’s latest venture with Inthestyle.com launches this week. ‘Dani X In The Style’ is a 50 piece fashion collection that she designed with the help of their in-house team.

Inthestyle.com approached Dani because they felt she defined girl power, female positivity and because she’s an all round girls girl. While some might wince at the thought of the reality TV star being an icon for female empowerment there’s no disputing she’s struck a chord with Love Island fans. Dani has a staggering 3.2 million followers on Instagram and has a loyal legion of followers who follow her every style move.

Dani & Jack have spoken about wedding plans in the future but for now they’re happy settling into their new home together. Now she’s had a taste of designing would she be brave enough to design her own dress? “I’ve always had an idea of what I want, I think every girl has an idea of what they want don’t they? I know I want a really romantic proposal, on a beach, full on romance! And while I don’t think I’d be able to design my own dress from scratch I do think after this project I have a clearer idea of how to get exactly what I want. I never thought in a million years I never thought I’d be able to design my own collection.

“It’s a dream come true. Most girls dream of being a princess but I knew that would never happen. This is much better. When I started out I had no idea what goes into it. We drew everything up. It was really nice because they knew what I liked and there were always agreements. I wanted the collection to be things that I would wear. A mixture of wardrobe staples, jumpers, cropped jumpers and jeans and fashion items like the snakeskin blazer. I’m a high street girl and I like Topshop, River Island and ASOS.”

It’s this down to earth quality that he fans love. There’s nothing flashy or pretentious about Dani. She’d never blow a fortune on a designer handbag, in fact she only owns one and is quick to point out that it needs mending. Her top beauty recommendation is a good cleanser. On Love Island she famously delighted her fans by washing her false lashes with Johnson’s baby shampoo and blasting them with a hair dryer every morning.

“Oh god yes that’s my top tip. Washing your lashes with baby shampoo and blow drying them makes them really fluffy. Don’t knock it until you’ve tried it.”

Fellow Love Island contestant Laura Anderson said that watching Dani do her beauty routine every morning was the highlight of her day.

Dani loves being at home and confesses “The thing I always wear is tracksuits, I have way too many of them. But at the moment I also love a heeled boot, I am obsessed with them, it’s all about adding a cool boot… because I’m not that cool.”

Feeling more confident about her style she confesses, “My biggest fashion mistake was a yellow Juicy Couture tracksuit that I wore with bling. Someone said they were fashionable again, but I say NO.”

Dani is set to make her stage debut this Christmas alongside her father Danny Dyer in The Birmingham Repertory Theatre production of Nativity The Musical.

Dani also has a great relationship with her 11 year old sister. “She’s started to borrow my clothes and I love that. That’s what big sisters are for isn’t it?”

Dani also has a really close relationship with her dad, Danny Dyer who she can always reply on to give her good style advice. “He’s really good when it comes to leather jackets and he’ll go shopping with me to buy one, but he’s not so keep on denim. I love what my dad wears, he dresses really young but then he looks really good for his age.”

Ask her what makes her happy apart from Jack and her family and she answers. “My friends. I love them. When it comes to girls it’s really important to me to have a really close group of friends. They help you through everything. It’s really important to support each other. It’s all about the sisterhood. If we all stick together we’re stronger and you should always look after your mates. In and out of the work place. What’s the golden rule of the sister hood? NEVER go out with any of your mates exes. Everyone girl should know that.”
